To conduct a thorough monitoring of Nepal's prisons, identify women prisoners nearing release, and to build network of like-minded organizations including jail authorities and through them ensure accessibility of prison-released women to SETU Nepal halfway home.

Ensure social justice by building a gender egalitarian society where women and children irrespective of their caste, culture, creed, religion and faith live harmoniously an independent and dignified life.

Values
SETU Nepal adheres to some values of its own which are non-negotiable.
They are :
- SETU Nepal sees all women and children equal regardless of their caste, creed, religion, culture and faith.
- SETU Nepal has empathy with all women and children regardless of their social, cultural and economic status and respects their views, ideas and aspirations.
- SETU Nepal under no circumstances will be a part or party of any political movement or campaign. However, SETU Nepal will support any such political activity or decisions taken in favor of prison-released women and children which directly benefit them.
- SETU Nepal believes in innate and infinite potential of all humans. It works to create an enabling environment conducive to the growth and development of such potentials.
- SETU Nepal will accept no such fund, donations that is aimed to explicitly or implicitly promote any religion, faith and political ideologies.
- SETU Nepal will not exhibit or condone any such behavior/attitude that hurts the pride and dignity of any women and children.
